Green Built Homes in Top 5% of Enervision Rating
Classic Communities has always been know for their high quality affordable
homes. A new rating by Enervision, the non-profit Alberta organization
charged with making Alberta’s builders more environmentally
friendly, has ranked Classic Communities new single family homes amongst
the top 5% of Western Canada’s environmentally friendly Built
Green homes.
Building to the standards of the Built Green Society of Canada, Classic
has integrated Structurally Insulated Panel (SIP) components and environmentally
friendly features that include: high-efficiency furnaces, tankless
hot water heating, and insulated water lines, to create homes that
are in keeping with today’s environmental focus. Best of all
each of these Built Green standard homes comes complete with Classic’s
own high quality custom finishing components from their locally created
doors, trim, shelving and cabinetry to their signature granite countertops.
Available through Classic’s unique “Builder Mortgage
Assistant Plan”, these new single-family homes put Green living
within the average homeowner’s reach. Ownership is not obtainable
with monthly payments as low as $915/moth and as little as $9600 down.
Homeowners can choose to become part of a Classic Community or have
their new Built Green home constructed on a lot of their choosing.
