Classic Construction Ltd. Named to Profit Magazine’s list of Canada’s Fastest Growing Companies 2008, Ranking at 18th

As part of their 20th annual PROFIT 100 ranking of Canada’s Fastest-Growing Companies, Profit Magazine has announced today that Classic Construction Ltd. has ranked 18th among those elite few.
Each year, Profit Magazine compiles a list of the 100 Fastest Growing Companies based on their five-year revenue growth, and profiles those listed as the country’s most successful growth companies in their June issue of PROFIT and online at PROFIT100.com.

Says Profit Magazine editor Ian Portsmouth on the significance of the winning companies achievements, “The PROFIT 100 are role models for anyone who wants to expand their business domestically or internationally. All entrepreneurs can take great lessons from the product development, human resources and marketing practices of Canada’s Fastest-Growing Companies.”

Canada’s largest annual celebration of entrepreneurial achievement, the ranking by PROFIT means for Classic Construction that their innovative ideas to combat the high costs of housing combined with their eye to high quality is something that is now recognized country-wide.

Pioneering new approaches to affordability while never losing site of quality, in the last five years alone Classic has built and sold homes totalling more than $83 Million in revenue and has seen a five-year revenue increase of more than 2,406%.

Says owner Murray Prokosch, “Soaring land costs and construction costs continue to increase. This makes it more difficult for people to own their own homes. Classic Communities through our Mortgage Assistance Program is committed to helping people build equity through home ownership. With over $300M worth of development currently planned Classic is poised to continue as Canada’s leader in affordable housing”
